Tussar silk

Tussar silk is woven from thread obtained from moths belonging to the Emperor moth family (Antheraea Paphia). These are found in the wild forests of Jharkand, India. Unlike traditional silk worms which feed on mulberry the Antheraea feed on the trees they live on. I like to call them woodland moths and their silk has more texture to it Tussar silk fabrics are light weight, airy and cool.
